A fake Google Ads consultant drained $19,000 from my cafe before disappearing completely
I run a small cafe in Cairns. A man claiming to be a certified Google Ads partner invoiced me monthly showing fake dashboards. When I asked questions he vanished. ABN pointed to a mail forwarding address. Reported to ACCC 4 months ago with no response. I want other small business owners to know this is happening.

Found on Facebook Marketplace. Landlord said he was overseas. Asked for bond upfront via bank transfer. Transferred $3,200 and never heard again. Police said little they can do.
